Why Length Matters Here
At 20 meters, this covers a tall post plus a second smaller one, or a whole tower's worth of partial rewraps. Running short mid-wrap means a visible join, and joins are where cats start picking the rope loose.
Untreated Natural Fiber

Before You Start
New sisal carries a faint natural smell. Leave it out to air for a few days before wrapping — cats take to it more readily once it's off-gassed.
