• CHOOSE THE CORRECT TAG FOR YOUR COLLAR - This ‘Closed End’ style CollarTag is made for double ply nylon or thick leather collars that close with a pin type belt buckle. This style CollarTag CANNOT be installed on adjustable length collars / collars that close with a snap or clasp type buckle. If your collar has buckles on both ends and snaps together, choose our ‘Open End’ tags. Make sure to choose the tag style based on your collar type (see third image to determine which tag style to order).
• DOG TAGS FOR THICK COLLARS - This slide on dog tag is designed to work on double thick collars (2 ply or 2 layer), even those with eyelets in the buckle holes. It can be used on double thick nylon collars or thick leather collars. The dog name tag will also work on rolled leather collars, but you will not be able to use the two holes closest to the rolled section (the pet tag will cover those two holes).
• FITS MOST COLLAR SIZES - CollarTag sizes are based on the width of the collar your pet wears. Choose from Large (for 1 inch wide collars), Medium (for 3/4 inch wide collars), Small (for 5/8 inch wide collars), and X-Small (for 3/8 inch wide collars). The tags for collars that are 3/8", 5/8" or 3/4" wide fit collars that are up to 3/16" in thickness. The tag for a 1" wide collar fits a collar up to 1/4" in thickness.
• TEXT WON’T RUB OFF - Deeply engraved with a diamond under high pressure, these pet id tags for dogs are guaranteed to last the life of your pet. The text will not fade or wear off, even after years of use. These dog id tags can be personalized with 1 to 5 lines of text.

These are some of the symbols we cannot engrave: less than symbol, tilde (~), underscore (_).
